ABOUT LISA

Even as a child, Lisa Zunino had a passion for style.  Rather than follow the trends, she made her own.  Coming from an Italian family background, she frequently visited Grandparents and relatives in Italy, exposing her to the Italian culture and language.  In college, she majored in Fashion Merchandising, with a minor in Business, and after class worked at a high-end, woman’s clothing boutique learning the business, from the bottom up.

Her intense focus on fashion led her to continue her studies in Italy.  She graduated with a degree in Fashion Design and Pattern Making from the prestigious Haiduk Vuga Tosi, School of Fashion Design, in Central Milano.  In the city known as the fashion capital of the world, beauty and inspiration were everywhere.

Soon opportunity led her into another direction.  Working with a partner, she helped establish a chain of restaurants in the Lombardy Region of Italy, bordering Lake Como.  For eight years Lisa lived and worked there, expanding her horizons in the European lifestyle.

Returning to Northern California, Lisa and a partner established a successful catering business.  She married and raised a beautiful daughter appropriately named Gemma.   But her interest in fashion could no longer be suppressed, as she devoted much of her time selling jewelry to her friends.  She soon began creating bangle bracelet sets that captured the attention of some of the most beautiful celebrities in Hollywood.  Catherine Zeta Jones, Scarlett Johansson, and Jillian Barberie Reynolds have all been adorned by her creations.

Today, her dedication and hard work have blossomed into the “Lisa Zunino Collection.”  She returned to Italy, this time to a Design House to work with artisans in creating her first collection.
